During a recent edition of his The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T had much praise for the run WWE Women’s Tag champs Bayley & Sasha Banks are on right now.
While talking about the Role Models’ performances of late on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, Booker offered this assessment of Bayley Dos Straps.
“I’m always on Bayley’s case, but Bayley is the quintessential worker. She may not be great at anything, but she’s good at everything. So, when I watch Bayley go out and perform, now taking on this new persona - which is something that I couldn’t wait till this happened - I think it’s good for her.”
That’s the description of a very valuable performer, and a heck of a report card overall. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer doesn’t even say the SmackDown Women’s champ isn’t great. He just doesn’t definitively say that she is.
Which is enough for her bestie to jump to her defense. With an in-character clap back that continues Sasha’s “we’re better than [fill in the blank]” Twitter gimmick.

Neither Booker or Stevie Ray has responded to The Boss.
Book just better hope Bayley doesn’t call her friend Undertaker. Or as she likes to call him, Taker.
