WWE books the card for SmackDown next week, including a title match

Now that a taping schedule is firmly in place, WWE can accurately inform us what to expect on Friday Night SmackDown next week. During this week’s show, that’s what they did.

Because there’s still time to fill with some stars unable or unwilling to show up to the Performance Center to the coronavirus pandemic, they’ll be re-airing the Bray Wyatt vs. Braun Strowman match from Money in the Bank. This is, of course, in preparation for the SWAMP FIGHT the two will have at Extreme Rules.

Elsewhere, Nikki Cross will once again team up with Alexa Bliss to take on SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, who Cross will wrestle for that title later this month, and Sasha Banks.

Finally, Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro will be getting a shot at The New Day and the SmackDown tag team titles after Nakamura defeated Kingston in singles action on this week’s show.
