We know you’ve been worried sick about Rey Mysterio and how he’s doing after the dastardly Seth Rollins pushed him into the corner of some steel steps and somehow extracted his eye. Tough way to lose a match!
Rey’s son, Dominik, showed up to Monday Night Raw this week and exacted some revenge with a kendo stick that caused some gnarly looking wounds but the good news didn’t stop there. Now, WWE has given us an update on Papa Mysterio’s condition.
It is very good:
WWE Digital has learned that Rey Mysterio’s vision is improving slowly each day, and that his optic nerve is intact, completely secured and back in its socket. A timeline for Mysterio’s return to the ring is unknown at this time.
We can all finally breathe again, folks.
