A new low for Raw viewership

WWE.com

WWE actually put together a solid episode of Monday Night Raw this week, and there’s reason to be optimistic for the future. For now, though, viewership continues to hover at numbers much lower than the company has seen before.

This week’s episode drew 1.61 million viewers, just about even with last week’s 1.62 million. However, the hourly breakdown shows a new low for the third and final hour:

Hour one: 1.69 million
Hour two: 1.68 million
Hour three: 1.46 million

We’re coming up on SummerSlam and many of the major storylines are ramping up for that. We’ll see if Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton is hot enough to turn the numbers around.
