The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the SummerSlam show set to take place on Sun., Aug. 23, 2020. The show was originally to be held in Boston but the coronavirus pandemic has forced the company to change locations. No replacement venue has been named at this time.
We’re still a month away from showtime, and there are no matches official for the card just yet. There’s only one match that WWE has made clear will happen:
- The Street Profits vs. TBA (Raw tag team championship)
This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw will feature a triple threat match pitting Andrade & Angel Garza vs. The Viking Raiders vs. Ricochet & Cedric Alexander with the winner earning a shot at the Raw tag team titles.
As far as rumors go, Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton could be on the cards, and it’s widely expected Bray Wyatt will again challenge Braun Strowman for the Universal championship.
So far, that’s it, but we’ll know a lot more after this week’s television.
