WWE Extreme Rules 2020 results: Bayley Dos Straps lives on

In something of a surprise, Nikki Cross won a Fatal 4-Way match on Friday Night SmackDown weeks ago to give her a shot at the SmackDown women’s championship. That shot came at tonight’s (Sun., July 19, 2020) WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Beforehand, Cross was hyped up by Alexa Bliss, Raw Women’s Champion Asuka, and Kairi Sane, the trio delivering words of encouragement that she could do it.

She could not.

Cross put forth a valiant effort, what with that being the entire story of the match, but she was never going to win the title. Instead, Bayley cheated with the help of her partner, Sasha Banks, to score the victory with the old brass knuckles trick.

Bayley Dos Straps lives on.
