The secret stipulation needs to save this one

WWE championship match, Challenger chooses the stipulation

Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler has been beaten into the ground in WWE for over a decade. That didn’t stop the promotion from throwing Dolph into two WWE championship matches on pay-per-view with Kofi Kingston roughly one year ago, and it’s not stopping them from putting Dolph in a WWE championship match at Extreme Rules 2020.

The problem with that, of course, is that it’s almost impossible to take Ziggler seriously as a threat to the title given Dolph’s past booking for 10+ years. And you really don’t even need to go back that far to see it - the only singles victory Dolph has in 2020 is a win over Tucker.

That means WWE needed to throw in a twist to hopefully get a few people to think that Ziggler stands a chance. That twist came in the form of a secret stipulation. Dolph Ziggler will get to choose any stipulation that he wants, and he has elected to not reveal his choice until the match happens.

It’s a pretty good way to add some intrigue to the match. Will Dolph ban the Claymore? Will he force Drew to wrestle while wearing a blindfold? Will he challenge Drew to a Doomsday Inferno Punjabi Prison Iron Man Kiss My Swamp Ass Pillow Fight?

Dolph better choose a good stipulation, because the interest level in this match pretty much depends on what his stipulation turns out to be.
