This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was headlined by the team of Bayley, the current SmackDown women’s champion, and Sasha Banks taking on Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross for the women’s tag team titles. The big sell here was both that Banks had pinned Bliss last week and, well, she and Bayley were the original champions.

In something of a surprise, or maybe not so much, Cross found herself in the Bank Statement. Bayley prevented Bliss from breaking it up but Cross rolled over and got a two count before Banks turned that into a crucifix pin to score the three count.
