Well now I need to play this NXT video game

NXT TakeOver: In Your House is taking place this Sunday, June 7. The concept itself is a throwback idea, so WWE has decided to use a bit of video game nostalgia to get you excited for the WWE Network event.

The above video includes a modern day version of the opening of the WWF: In Your House video game that was available on Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn back around 1996. You can find the original video game opening here, in case you need a refresher.

I think this is a pretty neat idea to get people excited for NXT’s upcoming show. I really want to play this game now, so that I can whoop Adam Cole’s ass with Io Shirai in a Fight Pit, while special guest referee, Finn Balor’s Abs, calls the action right down the line.

Video games are fun and all, but if WWE is going all the way with this nostalgia trip, how about giving away an actual house during the broadcast again?

Come on WWE, make it happen.

Let me know in the comments below what you think of WWE’s In Your House video game callback.
