Due to a Covid-19 outbreak, WWE was forced to change around its taping schedule to ensure each of its talent and crew were tested and the facilities at the Performance Center adequately cleaned to resume tapings.
There were plans to tape multiple episodes of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown this weekend. Post Wrestling reports the new schedule looks like this:
Wednesday, July 1 – Two episodes of NXT will be taped to air July 1 (later that night) and July 8, which are the Great American Bash episodes
Thursday, July 2 – Two episodes of SmackDown will be taped to air on July 3 and July 10 and taping 205 Live.
Friday, July 3 – Two episodes of Raw will be taped airing on July 6 and July 13 as well as tapings of Main Event & Raw Talk.
This doesn’t do much to address the ongoing issue of skyrocketing cases in Florida, but WWE has remained steadfast it will push ahead with running shows.
