WWE responds to reports of multiple positive COVID tests at the Performance Center

WWE has commented on the reports of multiple positive COVID-19 tests among talent and other staff at their Orlando Performance Center.

It’s not much. Here’s what they gave CBS Sports:

”WWE will continue COVID-19 testing of its talent, production crew and employees in advance of TV productions for the foreseeable future.”

Confidentiality laws rightfully prevent them from naming names, but this also contains no new information about how many, or even confirmation of any, positive tests.

It certainly gives the impression the plan is to plow ahead with whoever’s tested negative, and is still willing to show up (as opposed to opting out like Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, and others).

Testing is said to be ongoing ahead of two days of taping this Friday and Saturday.
