PWInsider reports that last weekend WWE began to inform its talent and staff there was another positive COVID-19 test. That would be the third such instance of the novel coronavirus at their Orlando Performance Center that we know of. It presumably was discovered during the testing which occurred last week after a Performance Center recruit who was in the crowd on June 9 tested positive, but that’s this writer’s supposition and not included in Insider’s report.

That email led to another round of testing, and both Insider and Pro Wrestling Sheet say there have been multiple positive results from this latest round. Insider only says there were multiple positives. Sheet reports at least three people were diagnosed with COVID-19, and at least one of those is a wrestler.

More testing is now scheduled. SmackDown is the next show set to be filmed at the P.C., with this week’s episode set to tape the afternoon before it airs on Fri., June 26. That’s a result of schedule shifting forced by last week’s testing.

Florida set another daily record for new COVID cases yesterday (June 23) with 5,511.
