Charlotte Flair came up short in her bid to win the Raw women’s championship from Asuka on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, though that was played up as largely to do with a pre-match brawl with Nia Jax that led to a shoulder injury.
That was played up in the match, and then Jax attacked again later in a targeted manner. It felt very much like a possible angle to write her off, and now the company is playing up the injury on its website:
While the specifics of The Queen’s injury have not been fully determined, it is believed she may have suffered a potential collarbone fracture.
It’s entirely possible this is simply played up for the purposes of the storyline. It’s also at least possible it’s cover for an actual injury.
Stay tuned.
