The rumors have been out there for a few days and now it’s been confirmed by WWE: as part of the trade that sent AJ Styles to Friday Night SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler — and his tag team partner, Robert Roode — have been traded to Monday Night Raw.
We know because Ziggler showed up on this week’s episode to tell us that while also demanding a WWE championship match against Drew McIntyre. His reasoning?
He played a big part in McIntyre’s big comeback story, so now he wants what is owed to him.
McIntyre went for it:
#WWERaw just went to the WILD SIDE!@HEELZiggler just challenged @DMcIntyreWWE for the #WWEChampionship at #ExtremeRules! pic.twitter.com/wV2UUxP7h9

Commentary played like it’s not official, but we can reasonably expect that to change in the very near future.
