The ratings and viewership data are in for this week’s (June 17) NXT and AEW television shows.
Per Showbuzz Daily, Dynamite netted 772,000 viewers for a .28 rating point in the 18-49 demographic. NXT checked in with 746,000 viewers for a .20 rating point in the same 18-49 demo.
For AEW, this is an increase of about 95,000 viewers from the prior week, with a large increase from last week’s 0.23 demo rating. For NXT, viewership increased by about 73,000 viewers from the prior week, and the demo rating was way up from last week’s 0.16.
AEW moved up from 14th to 8th place in the demo rating for the night, while NXT rose from 35th to 25th place.
After last week’s rough numbers, the ratings for both AEW and NXT mostly rebounded to their levels from two weeks ago (June 3). This has been an oscillating pendulum that will hopefully maintain the uptick going forward.
For NXT in particular, the viewership total was their highest going all the way back to the end of February. Meanwhile, Dynamite reached its fourth highest viewership total of the empty arena era.
