SmackDown audience inches back over 2 million for Backlash go home

Neither the “controversial” contract signing nor the awesome Intercontinental title match did much to move the needle for SmackDown on Fri. June 12. The average audience across its two hours was back over two million at 2.02 million, but overall the fast national over night numbers look a lot like last week’s.

It was facing nothing but summer re-runs, but at least WWE’s blue show won the night among 18 - 34 outright for Fox this week.
