Don’t worry everybody, Undisputed ERA aren’t being held captive by Dexter Lumis anymore

On Sunday night at TakeOver: In Your House, Dexter Lumis evened the odds in the NXT title fight by throwing Adam Cole’s Undisputed ERA mates Roderick Strong & Bobby Fish in the the trunk of a car and driving off.

It didn’t help Velveteen Dream win the championship. But it did lead to some entertaining-if-creepy social media work.

Fourth TUE member Kyle O’Reilly (who’s only appeared on television once since the pandemic started, likely because he’s immunocompromised on account of being diabetic) & Strong’s partner Marina Shafir kicked things off:

Then Strong posted this yesterday, almost 48 hours after the “abduction”. He must have a really great battery. Or maybe Lumis is letting them charge their phones:

Marina re-tweeted her husband’s cry for help - along with this warning: “If my husband doesn’t come home SOON, I swear to everything that is holy, blessed, kosher etc, I WILL FIND YOU Dexter Lumis and it’ll be the last game of hide n seek you will ever play.”

Finally, a couple hours ago we got good news from Adam Cole. But Shafir reports Roddy is suffering from PTSD:

We’ll see what happens tonight when Lumis and Cole square off on NXT. Maybe Dexter will draw us a picture to explain what’s going on?
