WWE Backlash 2020 match card, rumors

WWE.com

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Backlash show set to take place on Sun., June 14, 2020, at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. This will mark the return of the Backlash brand after taking 2019 off.

We’re two weeks from showtime, and here’s how the card looks:

  • Edge vs. Randy Orton

This match is being promoted as “THE GREATEST WRESTLING MATCH EVER.” Yep.

  • Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Bobby Lashley (WWE championship)

They argued about fighting each other, with some guidance from Lashley’s new manager, MVP, and a match was made.

  • Braun Strowman (c) vs. The Miz & John Morrison (Universal championship)

Strowman has been running through these two, and somehow that has led to their getting a title shot against him in a 2-on-1 situation.

  • Asuka (c) vs. Nia Jax (Raw women’s championship)

Jax won a triple threat match to earn this shot, defeating Charlotte Flair and Natalya in the process.

That’s all right now.
