We’ve heard WWE’s version of the Vince McMahon story in interviews and numerous company-produced projects over the years. There have been rumblings for a few years about a Hollywood biopic, but who knows if that will ever happen (and WWE Studios is attached, so it will have to get corporate approval if it does).
But we’ve never had a high profile, all-in-one place accounting of McMahon’s life and career.
According to author Abraham Riesman, that’s going to change in the next few years:
Riesman’s first book, a biography of another showman extraordinaire - Marvel Comics’ Stan Lee, is due out this fall. I obviously haven’t read that, but I am a fan of his pop culture writing for New York magazine and Vulture. He’s a good writer with a broad knowledge of “nerdy” entertainment.
Excited to read about the life and times of Vincent Kennedy McMahon, as written by someone who doesn’t work for Vincent Kennedy McMahon?
