We haven’t seen Kevin Owens since the nigh after WrestleMania 36, where he defeated Seth Rollins in the culmination of a months long feud. That seems strange, considering Rollins will be wrestling Drew McIntyre for the WWE championship on the very next pay-per-view.
So how did that happen?
Well, Owens confirmed to Canadian sports network RDS that he’s choosing to stay at home to spend time with his family while WWE is being accepting of as much during the coronavirus pandemic. He also revealed, however, that he suffered an ankle injury during his match with Rollins.
It’s unclear the severity of said injury because he still has to get X-rays on it.
There’s also no word on when he might return.
