WWE officially booked one more match for TakeOver: In Your House during NXT tonight (May 27), and it sounds like it might be a cinematic affair. A challenge was issued for another title fight, which would bring the card to a five confirmed bout.
Official is Velveteen Dream’s latest shot at the NXT title. Adam Cole agreed to put the belt on the line with the stipulation that if he wins, Dream can not challenge again while he holds it. General Manager William Regal agreed to find a location befitting two men who crave the spotlight as much as Cole and Velveteen.

All but official is a North American title match between champion Keith Lee and Johnny Gargano. The Limitless One and his lady friend responded to Johnny getting involved in Mia Yim’s match a week ago by mocking their dinner table segments. So Gargano and wife Candice LeRae issued some challenges, including one for a TakeOver tango between the current and former N.A. champs.
Once that’s confirmed, the card for Sun., June 7 will look like this:
- Velveteen Dream vs. Adam Cole (c) for the NXT championship
- Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s title
- Tommaso Ciampa vs. Karrion Kross
- Keith Lee (c) vs. Johnny Gargano for the North American championship
- Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest
They’re also building toward Imperium vs. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch for the NXT Tag titles, but it’s not clear if that will make the cut for In Your House.
