Asuka vs. Nia Jax official for WWE Backlash 2020

WWE decided the best way to determine who would wrestle Asuka for the Raw women’s championship at the upcoming Backlash pay-per-view on June 14 at the Performance Center was a triple threat match. Said triple threat would feature three wrestlers coming off a loss: Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, and Natalya.

Rumors indicated Jax would be next in line, what with Nattie nowhere in the headline plans and Flair busy being NXT women’s champion. Sure enough, she scored the pinfall on Natalya following a Samoan Drop just after Nattie had been in the Figure Four. She used a leg drop to take Flair out just long enough to get the pin.

These two had some solid matches in NXT. Let’s see if they can do it again at a WWE PPV.
