The Miz & John Morrison get beat up by Braun Strowman, might get a Universal title match out of it

@WWEonFOX

WWE booking at its finest here, folks.

On Friday Night SmackDown last week, Otis recruited Braun Strowman for his tag team match against The Miz & John Morrison and, to the surprise of no one, Mr. Money in the Bank and the Universal champion won said match without much issue. In something of a surprise, they went back to the well this week, only without Otis directly involved.

That led us to a Strowman vs. Miz match on SmackDown this week that, again unsurprisingly, saw the champ easily claim victory.

After, Morrison challenged Strowman to a 2-on-1 handicap match for the Universal championship at Backlash. His reasoning? “You beat us in a tag match, and you beat Miz in a singles match, but you can’t beat us both in a handicap match!”

Strowman accepted the challenge.

Commentary spoke of it like it needed to be approved, so it’s not official just yet but it sure appears to be the plan.
