As you get ready for Charlotte Flair’s third appearance on WWE television this week, rest assured that she’s not going away any time soon. In fact, for the first half of June, there’s a decent chance we could see her on our screens four times a week thanks to NXT and Raw/SmackDown PPVs!
When the Queen showed up on NXT this past Wednesday, she ended up getting involved in the main event between Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai. Booking 101 says that should lead to a Triple Threat. Ta-da!
#TheQueen @MsCharlotteWWE will defend the NXT #WomensTitle in a #TripleThreat Match against @RheaRipley_WWE & @shirai_io at #NXTTakeOver: In Your House, as first reported by @TVGuide! https://t.co/uaNffjc6aC— WWE NXT (@WWENXT) May 22, 2020
Jokes aside, Flair is the NXT Women’s champion, so it makes sense she’s a regular on their TV. And cliche as the set-up was, this three-way should kick all kinds of ass. Charlotte and Rhea tore the empty house down at WrestleMania 36, and Io Shirai is, well, Io Shirai.
This match joins Karrion Kross vs. Tommaso Ciampa as the only confirmed bouts for Sun., June 7’s TakeOver: In Your House. Adam Cole & Velveteen Dream, Finn Bálor/Damian Priest and a match or matches with Keith Lee & Mia Yim against Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae also seem to be in the plans.
We’ll see what else ends up on WWE Network in a little more than two weeks. But rest assured Charlotte Three Shows will be there.
