Well, that was disappointing.
The IIconics returned to Monday Night Raw last week, defeating Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross in an impromptu non-title match. That meant the obvious booking was next: a rematch, except this time with the women’s tag team titles on the line.
Said rematch happened on this week’s episode of Raw and, well, it sucked. They were given very little time, and the match ended via disqualification when Peyton Royce broke up a pinfall attempt and proceeded to beat Bliss up a little too much for the referee’s liking. He called for the bell, and that was that.

What came after is what was most interesting about all this: tensions ran high backstage and Billie Kay slapped Peyton in the face for her screw up. So, perhaps this was just the set up for an angle splitting the two.
Intrigue!
