Five years ago tonight, NXT champion Kevin Owens answered John Cena’s United States championship open challenge. Before the segment was over, KO told Cena what he could do with his veteran advice and shocked the audience by leaving the WWE’s top star laying with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.
I still get excited watching that. And I’m just some dude who’s lucky enough to get to write about wrestling online! Imagine how Owens feels.
