The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Backlash show set to take place on Sun., June 14, 2020, at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. This will mark the return of the Backlash brand after taking 2019 off.
We’re still roughly one month from showtime and only one match is set and even that match isn’t technically official yet:
- Edge vs. Randy Orton
They had a brutal — and brutally long — Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36. It was the kind of match that would normally serve as a blow off to a feud but we’re going in reverse on this one. Orton challenged Edge to a straight up wrestling match, because he believes himself to be the more talented of the two. Edge hasn’t quite accepted, but it’s clear it will be happening.
That’s all right now.
Asuka vs. Shayna Baszler and The Street Profits vs. The Viking Raiders have been teased and could end up on this show.
You in?
