Women’s tag team title match announced for Monday Night Raw next week

It’s a tradition unlike any other in WWE: beat the champ(s) to get a shot at the champ(s).

In this case, The IIconics returned to Monday Night Raw last week to confront Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, the current women’s tag team champions. That led to a match between the two teams, a match won by Billie Kay and Peyton Royce.

Now, it’s been announced that the dynamic duo will be challenging BlissCrossAppleSauce for the titles on next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

Easy peasy.

The IIconics couldn’t have come back at a better time, considering the shape the current men’s tag team division is in, at least on the red brand. After a long absence, they get the chance to be champs once more.
