Rachel Ellering, who wrestled in NXT as Rachel Evers, posted the following video on Twitter confirming she is no longer with the company and signaling her return from an ACL tear she suffered last summer.
We know who we are, who we’ll always be and we have a choice: we can hide in the shadows or stand in the light pic.twitter.com/DKpF7rafka— Rachael Ellering (@RachaelEversWWE) May 13, 2020
Ellering is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering. She was trained by Lance Storm, and signed with WWE in January of 2019 after working several per-appearance dates with the company over the previous two years. Before reporting to the Performance Center full-time, she also worked with Shine and Impact, among other independent promotions.
In addition to the video, Ellering also has new merchandise available at Pro Wrestling Tees.
The second generation wrestler was one of many talents cut from NXT and the Raw & SmackDown rosters as part of the company’s coronavirus budget reductions last month.
