For whatever it’s worth, Ryan Satin of WWE Backstage wrote up the announcement for his website Pro Wrestling Sheet before WWE tweeted confirmation. They are filming both tonight’s and next Monday’s episodes of Raw at the Performance Center today (May 11), so it’s conceivable something leaked to Satin before it was supposed to. But it’s also possible he just got a few minutes head-start on something they were always planning to announce anyway.
Becky has been Raw Women’s champion since WrestleMania 35. She’s only appeared on WWE television once since defeating Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36. During that time, there have been rumors she was taking time off to heal up from a nagging injury, and reports about her prospects in Hollywood. She’s been promoted as returning on tonight’s show to confront the Money in the Bank winner for more than a week.
We’ll see if any or all of that plays into her announcement tonight.

PWInsider says they’ve confirmed with three different sources that Lynch will vacate the title to Money in the Bank winner Asuka tonight. They have been told why, but were ”asked to respect her privacy until she makes it public during Raw”.
