Despite the fact that he came out on the losing end of his last feud, Seth Rollins was pushed into the main event scene on Monday Night Raw. After all, most of the top stars have been away. Who else to challenge new WWE Champion Drew McIntyre for his title?
That’s exactly what Rollins did at tonight’s (Sun., May 10, 2020) Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
He was presented every bit as McIntyre’s equal, though there were plenty of moments like this sprinkled throughout the match:

McIntyre kicked out of the first Curb Stomp. Rollins never got the chance to deliver the second.
When he went for it, McIntyre countered with the Glasgow Kiss. Seth responded with a superkick off the ropes but McIntyre came back off the ropes himself with the Claymore Kick. That was enough to get the pin and the victory.
So much for the Messiah.
The new theme is cool, though!
