SmackDown’s numbers didn’t perk up for WrestleMania go home

The first look at the television viewership numbers are in for Fri. April 3, and the outlook seems much the same for WWE and Fox.

SmackDown’s audience was a tiny bit bigger than the week before; the average of 2,374,500 was an increase of just 500 over Mar. 27’s lowest-since-November ‘19 viewership. Ratings were flat or down across the board, and again left the blue brand behind ABC’s Shark Tank and CBS’ Hawaii Five-O with 18 - 34 year olds.

Stability is all well and good - especially given the state of the world right now. The lack of buzz heading into WrestleMania 36 despite any other new sports entertainment options is striking, though.
