Early on during tonight’s episode of NXT, an Adam Cole vs. Velveteen Dream title match was announced for next Wednesday. But WWE was far from done booking May 6’s card.
Before the night was through, Io Shirai would confront Charlotte Flair and inform her their Women’s championship bout was happening next week, too. We learned Killer Kross & Scarlett Bordeaux will make their official debut, and Finn Bálor will be on hand to call out whoever attacked him last week. Plus, in his first match since ending his feud with Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano will be in action against Dominik Dijakovic.
Tick tock.

Phew!
If the Interim Cruiserweight Title Tournament rolls on, it’s not clear how they’ll fit all this into two hours. Unless of course, one of the championship matches doesn’t get the usual 20 - 30 minutes it would on a TakeOver. Or if one of them - say the one which features someone who just denied sending a naked photo of himself to minors - didn’t happen at all.
Should be an interesting week. Especially since plans called for next week’s show to have been taped with this week’s today.
Stay tuned.
