Apollo Crews pulled from Money in the Bank ladder match

During this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Apollo Crews looked well on his way to big things. He pinned Andrade in a six-man tag match, then was given a second shot at Andrade, this time in a singles match for the United States championship.

In said match, they worked in a knee injury that left him unable to continue. This avoided his having to submit or take a fall while keeping the title with Andrade.

It seemed obvious on the broadcast that the injury was an angle, but WWE has since reported that Crews has been pulled from the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match on Sun., May 10, 2020, at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.

No replacement has been announced at this time.

Stay tuned.
