When Finn Bálor was removed from his scheduled match with Velveteen Dream on the April 22 edition of NXT, viewers saw referees examining a backstage crime scene. The only evidence was some of The Prince’s new merch.
On his NXT Injury Report, Matt Camp referred to Bálor as “missing in action”.
Given that there’s a kidnapping operation running in the parking lot (a piece of real estate that’s already one of the most dangerous places in modern wrestling history), it lead to a lot of concern about Finn’s well-being. He may not be the happy-go-lucky fella who occasionally turned into a Demon any longer, but we still care about the guy.
General Manager William Regal wanted to put our minds at ease...
Still looking into the events that transpired before #WWENXT on Wednesday evening.

I can confirm that @FinnBalor was attacked and left the premises. He’s received medical attention but is fine. @WWENXT
Phew.
Still a lot of questions, but at least we know he’s not being tortured by Imperium, Dexter Lumis, and/or a roving band of luchadors.
