WWE released dozens of talent last week in the midst of a global pandemic, and one of the most surprising names on the list was senior referee Mike Chioda. He worked for WWE for 30+ years and was part of some of the biggest moments in the company’s history, such as officiating the main event of WrestleMania 28 between The Rock and John Cena.
In the aftermath of his release, Chioda has now tweeted his gratitude towards WWE, his co-workers, and the fans:

It’s a classy response from Chioda, who leaves any negativity of the situation out of his tweets and instead reflects back on how proud he is of his work throughout his WWE career.
