Another very important update on Elias’ status

It’s been a wild news day for Elias. He’s been recovering from the injuries he sustained last Friday (Mar. 27) on SmackDown, when Baron Corbin, dressed up as a king inside an empty arena, used his scepter to knock Elias off a balcony. The scepter strike defied physics to the point where a strange sound effect was produced during Elias’ fall to the floor below.

This is clearly one of the most important stories leading up to WrestleMania 36. That’s why earlier today, WWE made sure to provide us with a critical update on Elias’ status, which helped us know that we don’t know if he’ll be competing at WrestleMania 36.

The story was so gripping that I stopped refreshing the web sites tracking coronavirus statistics in order to keep hitting that refresh button on all things Elias. At least an hour passed by, maybe two, and I just couldn’t handle the suspense anymore.

Thankfully Elias has taken to Twitter to provide us with the latest extremely important update on his status:

“I am a lucky man. But I don’t know if I’m gonna be allowed to compete at WrestleMania.”

Phew. For a second there I thought Elias was going to provide some false hope. Thankfully he was honest and updated us with accurate information, so that we now know that we still know that we don’t know if he’ll be competing at WrestleMania 36 against Baron Corbin.

Keep it here at Cageside Seats while we update you on all of this thrilling Elias breaking news that keeps flooding in on the eve of WrestleMania.
