The rise of off-site matches in WWE continues.
Indeed, it was announced on Friday Night SmackDown this week that the two Money in the Bank ladder matches scheduled for this year’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) on May 10 will take place at WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
The matches will begin on the ground floor with the briefcases on the roof of the corporate tower. The winner will be the wrestler who fights their way to the top of the building and grabs the briefcase first.
It’s given the event its new tagline: “CLIMB THE CORPORATE LADDER.”
