WWE is furloughing or outright firing a lot of people today. No matter what you think of the work they did on screen, no matter how you felt about them as performers, they are actual human beings with real lives to think about who are now out of work.
This sucks.
It didn’t have to be this way. WWE has the money to keep all of them on, to ride this thing out, to put actual humans over profit margins. They chose not to.
This sucks.
There was a time when WWE releasing a wrestler would have simply opened new doors for said wrestler. It’s not like that now. Most promotions have closed up shop, at least for the time being. The market is different now.
This sucks.
Heath Slater has one WWE shirt.

This sucks.
The coronavirus pandemic has changed everything. The world isn’t what it was before, and it won’t ever be the same again, not really. Who knows when good folks who deserve better will be able to resume their everyday lives.
This sucks.
It all just really, really sucks.
Love to all of you out there. I hope you’re doing okay. If you’re not, I hope it gets better soon.
