After a strong, sustained push for a number of months, it was quite the surprise when Aleister Black lost to AJ Styles on a regular old episode of Monday Night Raw. Sure, it happened after he was forced to wrestle the rest of The O.C. but it was a surprise nonetheless.
Styles, meanwhile, has been building a feud with Undertaker, enough so that it seemed clear going into Elimination Chamber tonight (Sun., Mar. 8, 2020) in Philadelphia that WWE has Styles vs. Undertaker planned for WrestleMania 36.
It was obvious by the end of it.

That’s because “The Phenom” showed up right when Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson were about to help Styles score the victory, putting all three of them down and paving the way for Black to hit his finish and pin AJ.
So Black gets what commentary called a “milestone victory” while Styles continues on his collision course with Undertaker at the biggest show of the year.
