A very predictable Elimination Chamber match

Asuka vs. Liv Morgan vs. Sarah Logan vs. Natalya vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Ruby Riott

Becky Lynch finally conquered Asuka at Royal Rumble 2020, and in doing so, she has beaten every challenger who has stepped up to her as the defending Raw women’s champion.

But a new challenger emerged on the Feb. 10 episode of Raw. Former NXT women’s champion Shayna Baszler sunk her teeth into the back of Becky’s neck and drew a hilariously large amount of blood:

Lynch has been determined to get her hands on Baszler ever since. Shayna probably could have pulled a trick from the Universal championship playbook and just declared herself the next challenger for the title, but an Elimination Chamber match was booked instead, to see who Becky will defend her gold against at WrestleMania 36.

The other five women who will join Baszler in the chamber match include Asuka, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, and Natalya. There isn’t really any reason to think these five women have a chance to win. It’s not even certain that Asuka will be healthy enough to compete in the match.

In the unlikely scenario where there is a swerve away from Baszler as the winner due to Vince McMahon’s rumored negativity towards her, it would be smarter to bet on someone who isn’t currently announced for the match, like Nia Jax or Ronda Rousey, than any of the other five women who are advertised for this chamber match.

So yeah, there is a clear winner here. Predictability isn’t inherently a good or bad thing, but if this is the main event of Elimination Chamber 2020, then WWE will probably have to come up with some very creative ideas to get fans to believe that anybody besides Baszler can win this match.
