WWE promoted the nWo returning to television this week on Friday Night SmackDown and they wasted zero time getting right to the goods, opening the show with Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross in the ring for “A Moment of Bliss” with Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman.

They didn’t have much to say before they were interrupted, because groups like this are always back to help someone along, right? This time it was Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro, and Sami Zayn to hit the scene to get some kind of rub.
Nash was his usual self, hitting Zayn with a nice zinger — “you got a big mouth for somebody who looks like Seth Rogen after two weeks of stomach flu” — while Waltman and Hall were a good enough supporting cast. It somehow all led to the heels feeding for Braun Strowman, who stood tall with the nWo to end the segment.
Not much to it, but hey, it was good to see the old guys again.
