Matt Hardy will make a decision on what’s next ‘within the next 30 days’

Matt Hardy’s only been a free agent for a number of days but he’s made the most of it, getting himself out there in a way he wasn’t even while he was with WWE. Fans are eagerly awaiting his next move, expecting word to come anytime.

As he tells SI, we won’t have to wait much longer:

“My goal is to legitimately surprise people and draw emotion from them. I always want to entertain the audience and keep them guessing. I’ll make a decision within the next 30 days, and it could be by next week. It all depends on how everything comes together.”

Not surprisingly, he claimed to have talked to everyone, from AEW to Impact to NWA and even NXT. It seems clear he’s not going back to WWE, even if it’s for NXT, but every other option is open and, in fact, it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see him pop up in every other promotion on the list.

But what we he be?

“I’ll either be a terrible ‘Broken’ version of an abomination, or I’ll be the second coming of ‘Broken’ Matt. From there, it will certainly evolve, and it will be the launching pad of what I do next.”
