It’s WrestleMania season, which means WWE is going to lean on nostalgia as much as possible to bring back some lapsed fans.
They already announced earlier today that Steve Austin is returning to Raw on Mar. 16. But since when is one Hall of Fame act sufficient?
WWE has revealed that the nWo will appear on A Moment of Bliss on tomorrow night’s (Mar. 6) episode of SmackDown. Will Alexa Bliss be able to keep Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and X-Pac from taking over the entire show?
The trio, along with Hulk Hogan, are being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in about a month at WrestleMania 36, so the segment will presumably be focused on that. But these talk shows usually go off the rails, with another superstar often crashing the party.
Do you think WWE is relying too much on nostalgia ratings?
