Late in the a six-man tag match on Raw last night (Mar. 30), Montez Ford of Street Profits looked to take out Austin Theory with a dive to the outside.
Theory was still getting to his feet from having fallen to the floor after Ford hit him with an enziguri, so Tez got nothing but the steel ramp. It looked, and sounded, awful.
Check it out.

Ouch.
The match was taped last week, and there’s been no indication Street Profits’ Raw Tag Team title defense against Theory & Angel Garza didn’t happen during the WrestleMania 36 tapings, so presumably Ford is okay. Seems the spot led to an awkward conversation with his mom after she saw it last night, though.

That’s good stuff.
For his part, Theory is playing off a potential disastrous rookie mistake with some heel work (Montez yelled “WrestleMania!” before the dive where the former Evolve champ failed to catch him, and had yelled “It’s WrestleMania Season!” before taking out Theory & Garza with the same move earlier in the match).
Don’t scream “WrestleMania” twice in one night and think you’re gonna land on me #dodgedabullet #RAW

Not a bad save. But I’m sure Tez would have rather he made the one in the arena.
