WrestleMania 30 on ESPN open thread

WWE.com

The pandemic has left the world desperate for sports entertainment. So ESPN & WWE struck a deal for the Disney-owned cable network to spend three Sundays broadcasting prior WrestleManias.

First up, WrestleMania 30!

At 7 p.m. Eastern / 4 p.m. Pacific, you can watch Daniel Bryan fight Triple H in order to gain entry to a match with WWE & World Heavyweight champ Randy Orton and Royal Rumble winner Batista. Before that we’ll probably see Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin & The Rock share a toast. In between Bryan’s matches, Undertaker will put his undefeated Streak at the Showcase of the Immortals on the line against Brock Lesnar.

We’ll see what else they decide to squeeze into a three-and-a-half hour time slot once they add in commercial breaks.

The event itself happened back on April 6, 2014, so no spoiler warning. And no live blog either. If you want to read about the show, here’s some of our existing coverage:
