Ricochet lost to Brock Lesnar at Super ShowDown last week in a match that saw him record zero offense. He was always a stop gap, a way to get Lesnar on the card before he defends the WWE championship at WrestleMania 36, but losing in that manner made very clear just how little he means in the grand scheme of things.
It got worse on Monday Night Raw this week.
It’s one thing to lose a WWE championship match but Ricochet came back and immediately lost a 24/7 championship match.
He lost to Riddick Moss.
There were zero shenanigans either. He just went out there, tried to win a match, and was beaten clean by his opponent in the middle of the ring. Whatever push was there for Ricochet before all this, it’s gone now.
