FS1 shuts down studio shows, including CM Punk’s next WWE Backstage

Fox Sports issued the following statement this morning (Fri., Mar. 13):

“Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to suspend production of our live FS1 daily studio shows through at least Friday, March 20.

Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust accordingly.”

As the WWE on Fox Twitter account confirmed, this means no WWE Backstage next Tuesday. The Mar. 17 edition was supposed to feature Rhea Ripley... and the first appearance of CM Punk since Feb. 11.

No word on if Punk’s appearance will just be bumped out to the next time Backstage films, whenever that is. But if you’ve been missing the banter between Mr. AJ Mendez, his buddy Renee Young, and the Twitter public - here you go.
