WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Elimination Chamber event set to take place on Sun., Mar. 8, 2020, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is, of course, the annual post-Royal Rumble, pre-WrestleMania showcase.

The show is a week from today, and here’s what the card looks like before the “go home” episodes of Raw and SmackDown:

• Women’s Elimination Chamber Top Contender Match

The participants: Shayna Baszler, Natalya, Asuka, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan. The winner receives a shot at the Raw women’s championship at WrestleMania 36.

• SmackDown Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber Match

The participants: The Miz & John Morrison, The New Day, The Usos, Heavy Machinery, Lucha Housey Party, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode.

• Braun Strowman (c) Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro & Sami Zayn (Intercontinental championship)

They signed a contract that Zayn manipulated (in story) to be a 3-on-1 handicap match. So here we are.

There are rumors that perhaps a third Elimination Chamber match will be added to the show.
