Raw’s Kevin Owens is one of several WWE Superstars who doesn’t work the company’s Saudi Arabia shows. Reportedly KO’s decision is in support of his friend Sami Zayn, who’s allegedly blocked by the government due to his Syrian heritage.
Whatever the reason, the important thing is that while many of his fellow contractors were in Riyadh yesterday, Owens was taking a page from Sami’s book and announcing a fundraiser.
Kevin was inspired by fans’ reactions to his new “Just Keep Fighting” slogan, so he and his wife decided to donate all of his cut of his new shirt’s sales to the Canadian Mental Health Association in his home country, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness here in the U.S. He released this video announcing the effort yesterday afternoon:
